One of the members of the New York School, which included Rothko, de Kooning and Pollock, Robert Motherwell was a renowned painter in charge of laying the foundations for the new movement of Abstract Expressionism. His show, Works on Paper 1951-1991, is on view at Paul Kasmin Gallery through January 3rd, 2015. These pieces were incredible to frame and we encourage you to visit the gallery to see them!
